The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield rose to 5.148% on Sept. 24, reaching its highest level since 2007, while the 30-year yield climbed to 5.442%, its highest level since 2004.

The 10-year benchmark renewed its multi-year peak as yields moved higher across long-term U.S. government debt. The 30-year yield also extended its rise, reaching a level not seen in more than two decades.

The move puts two closely watched Treasury benchmarks at multi-year highs, creating a key macro development for crypto markets and other risk assets. The latest levels add to the focus on long-term borrowing conditions as markets assess the direction of interest rates.
