Robinhood has added The Juggernaut (JUGGERNAUT) and Frong (FRONG) to its searchable asset pages, triggering sharp rallies in both meme coins as traders rushed into Robinhood Chain tokens. JUGGERNAUT surged more than 500% at its peak, while FRONG climbed nearly 130%.
Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 network designed for tokenized stocks and real-world assets (RWAs), has increasingly become a hub for permissionless meme coin trading. Its decentralized exchange ecosystem generated about $4.5 billion in trading volume over the past 30 days.
On-chain trackers reported Thursday that Robinhood Assets had added pages for JUGGERNAUT and FRONG alongside other tokens. However, the additions do not mean the meme coins are available for spot trading on Robinhood Crypto. Instead, users can search for the assets and monitor their prices.
Myriad Markets co-founder Farokh Sarmad highlighted the distinction, noting that Robinhood had essentially created searchable asset pages rather than full trading listings. Cash Cat (CASHCAT) remains the only Robinhood Chain meme coin currently available for spot trading through the platform.
Despite that distinction, JUGGERNAUT price jumped more than 500% within an hour of the development before trimming its gain to roughly 380%. The token traded between $0.0022 and $0.0208 over 24 hours, while trading volume soared more than 3,000%, signaling a surge in speculative activity.
FRONG also rallied nearly 130% before easing to an approximately 100% gain, trading around $0.0106 at the time of writing. The meme coin reached a new all-time high of $0.0164, while its 24-hour trading volume increased by more than 1,300%.
The rallies came despite weakness across the broader crypto market after U.S. PPI inflation reached 5.6%.
Meanwhile, tokenized assets on Robinhood Chain have grown to approximately $166.5 million in total value across stocks, ETFs, commodities and U.S. Treasuries, highlighting rising demand for the Layer 2 network.
