The cryptocurrency market has erased more than $2.3 trillion in value since October 2025, but several revenue-backed crypto coins are proving more resilient than the broader market. According to analyst Ted Pillows, projects such as Hyperliquid (HYPE), PumpFun (PUMP), PancakeSwap (CAKE), and Aave (AAVE) stand out because their underlying protocols generate revenue that is used to buy back or burn native tokens, helping reduce supply and strengthen long-term investor sentiment.

Hyperliquid remains the leader among revenue-generating crypto projects. TokenTerminal data shows the protocol generated $14.13 million in revenue between June 22 and June 28, supported by $2.06 billion in decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume, according to DeFiLlama. The platform allocates 93% to 99% of its revenue to repurchase HYPE tokens, reducing selling pressure. Institutional interest has also remained strong, with SoSoValue reporting $111.3 billion in spot HYPE ETF inflows during the week of June 22-26, while Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recorded net outflows. HYPE has also outperformed the broader market, rising nearly 3% over the past week while BTC and ETH declined. Technically, HYPE is forming a bear flag pattern, with a sustained move above $64 potentially opening the door to $71. However, a break below support could send the token back toward $58.

PumpFun continues to generate solid income despite weakness across the meme coin sector. TokenTerminal reports the platform earned $3.89 million in revenue during the week ending June 29, while analyst Ted Pillows estimates PumpFun generated $459 million in revenue between July 2025 and July 2026. The protocol uses half of its revenue to buy back PUMP tokens, supporting price stability. PUMP has gained about 1.4% over the past week and is testing resistance near its 20-day EMA at $0.00144. A successful breakout could target the 50-day EMA at $0.00156, followed by the 100-day EMA at $0.00174 and potentially the May high near $0.0022. Improving Awesome Oscillator readings suggest bearish momentum may be fading.

PancakeSwap also remains one of the strongest revenue-backed crypto projects. TokenTerminal data indicates the platform generated $2.69 billion during the latest reporting period, while DeFiLlama shows weekly DEX trading volume climbed to $4.66 billion. PancakeSwap continues to buy back and permanently burn CAKE tokens, reducing circulating supply from 326 million to 307 million tokens. The deflationary mechanism supports a constructive long-term outlook if trading activity remains strong. Technically, CAKE is holding support around $1.26. A break below that level could send the token toward $1.127, while easing selling pressure could allow a recovery toward $1.63.

Aave is also attracting attention as demand for decentralized lending services remains healthy. Although Aave founder Stani Kulechov dismissed rumors that Kraken acquired a 15% stake in the protocol, TokenTerminal reported weekly revenue of $1.98 million, while DeFiLlama recorded $7.48 million in fees. AAVE has rallied approximately 15% over the past week, climbing from $70 to around $86. The token is currently testing support near $85. If that level fails, the price could revisit $70. However, an RSI reading of 57 suggests buyers still hold the advantage, leaving room for a move toward $95 if bullish momentum returns.

As crypto markets remain under pressure, revenue-backed crypto coins such as HYPE, PUMP, CAKE, and AAVE continue to attract investor attention through sustainable token buyback and burn mechanisms that may provide stronger long-term value than speculative narratives.
