BILL Raises FY 2027 Non-GAAP EPS Outlook to $3.99-$4.15

The revised outlook implies a midpoint operating margin of about 32.9% on revenue net of card rewards. BILL also reported higher revenue and non-GAAP earnings for its fiscal first quarter.

BILL raised its fiscal 2027 outlook for non-GAAP net income per diluted share to $3.99-$4.15, up from $3.56-$3.79, and projects non-GAAP operating income of $466 million to $486 million. The operating income midpoint implies a margin of about 32.9% against the midpoint of its revised revenue outlook, which is presented net of card rewards.

The company projects total revenue of $1.4335 billion to $1.4635 billion for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, a year-over-year increase of 10% to 12%. Its core revenue forecast, which covers subscription and transaction fees, is $1.2835 billion to $1.3135 billion.

BILL adopted a revenue presentation on July 1 that deducts card rewards from revenue instead of recording them as sales and marketing expense. The presentation changes reported revenue but does not affect operating income.

For the fiscal first quarter ended Sept. 30, total revenue increased 13% to $353.8 million, while core revenue rose 14% to $316.4 million. Non-GAAP operating income climbed 101% to $136.9 million. Non-GAAP net income per diluted share was $1.18, compared with $0.61 a year earlier.

For fiscal second quarter, BILL expects non-GAAP net income per diluted share of $0.97 to $1.01 and non-GAAP operating income of $112.5 million to $117.5 million. BILL did not reconcile its forward-looking non-GAAP operating income, operating margin, net income or net income-per-diluted-share guidance to GAAP because certain excluded items could not be reasonably calculated or predicted.
