Amundi Issues Tokenized STOXX Europe 600 Fund Shares on Ethereum
The new class adds European equity exposure to Amundi’s tokenized fund range, which previously included money-market products.

Amundi has added a tokenized share class issued on Ethereum for its fund tracking the STOXX Europe 600, extending its blockchain-based offerings from money-market products to European equities.
CACEIS provided the infrastructure for the new class. Investors can continue to access the fund through traditional channels as well as the tokenized share class.
The STOXX Europe 600 covers 600 companies of varying sizes across developed European markets. The fund’s new class offers blockchain-based access to that equity benchmark.
Amundi plans to develop more tokenized funds for institutional clients and digital platforms. The company identifies accessibility, settlement speed and operating efficiency as potential benefits of tokenization.
The launch expands on Amundi and CACEIS’ earlier tokenized share class for a euro money-market fund.
