FinChain and Plume Launch FUSD Strategy With Expected Yield Up to 7.2%
Users can borrow USD Coin (USDC) against FUSD and deploy it into liquidity pools; the strategy has a 90% utilization cap.

FinChain announced a joint onchain strategy with Plume that lets users borrow USD Coin (USDC) against FUSD and put the borrowed tokens into liquidity pools, adding a second yield stream to FUSD’s own returns.
FUSD is backed by tokenized U.S. short-term Treasury securities and compliant money market funds. FinChain put the strategy’s expected annualized yield at up to 7.2% under baseline assumptions. The strategy has a 90% utilization cap.
Redemptions settle at T+2, while interest settles between T+14 and T+30. Users earn FUSD’s underlying yield while deploying borrowed USDC into liquidity pools.
Plume previously launched a vault tied to the Fidelity Total Bond ETF on Oct. 5.
