Elbit Systems Secures $170 Million Artillery Training Contract
The 15-year agreement covers a training and simulation facility for the Israel Defense Forces’ Artillery Corps.

Elbit Systems secured an approximately $170 million contract with Israel’s Ministry of Defense to run an artillery training center for 15 years.
Under the contract, Elbit will build a simulation facility and provide training for the Israeli military’s Artillery Corps.
Elbit trades on Nasdaq under ticker ESLT. Its order backlog stood at $32 billion as of June 30.
The award follows Elbit’s Oct. 26 announcement of about $200 million in separate airborne defense contracts for an Asia-Pacific country. Those contracts included support and upgrades for training systems already installed on aircraft, along with helicopter targeting systems and head-up displays.
