Samsung Wallet to Add Sui USDC Support on 82 Million U.S. Galaxy Devices
The feature is scheduled for the last week of October and will enable qualified USDC transfers without requiring users to hold SUI for network fees.

Samsung Wallet will add USD Coin (USDC) support on the Sui network across 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the United States, bringing qualified gasless stablecoin transfers to eligible users.
The feature is scheduled to launch during the last week of October 2026. It will be available to U.S. residents age 18 or older with compatible Galaxy devices running Android 13 or later, a Samsung Account, identity verification and biometric authentication.
USDC will be the first stablecoin supported through the feature. Users will not need to hold Sui (SUI) to pay network fees on qualified USDC transfers, and Samsung will not charge fees for USDC transfers to external wallets. Recipient wallet providers and exchanges may still impose charges.
The stablecoin service will operate with partners including Bastion and Coinbase, while Sui and Solana provide blockchain infrastructure. Samsung also plans to support transfers to eligible bank accounts in more than 60 countries, with fees varying by destination and transaction amount.
