Singaporean investment company Temasek is the latest to announce that it has not made any investment in bitcoin mining giant Bitmain.
We've seen commentary about an IPO involving a cryptocurrency company, Bitmain. Temasek is not an investor in Bitmain, and has never had discussions with, or an investment in Bitmain. News reports about our involvement in their IPO are false.

Bitmain founder and CEO Jihan Wu also denied such reports saying that they are “mostly fake”.
Even if I needed to contact Temasek, I guess I would have used Wechat or something. Oversea phone call’s quality is very bad. I don’t have the convenience to comment most of the news related with Bitmain, but they are mostly as fake as this. pic.twitter.com/EaYYbzfEhX

Last month, Softbank and Tencent also denied reports that suggested that they participated in Bitmain’s pre- Initial Public Offering (IPO) funding round. DST Global confirmed to CoinTelegraph that it has also not made any investment in Bitmain.
Twitter user BTCKING555, who, as Forklog pointed out, has been publishng insider information about Bitmain's IPO, has claimed that GIC has also not participated in the round, adding that information stating the same on Crunchbase is fraudulent:
When @Temasek exposes lying Chinese Mainland Company Bitmain @HKEXGroup what about GIC ? Whose name Bitmain uses as investor in its deck and is on crunchbase #bitmainipo @STcom @govsingapore GIC name is defrauded! Statement perhaps ? pic.twitter.com/AefooHEUYq
