Crypto derivatives provider ErisX announced that it is now a member of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, a leading trade association that advocates the digital asset and blockchain technology industry.
“We look forward to bringing ErisX’s experience as a regulated market to the Chamber and to their participation in our efforts to educate policymakers as well as advocate for digital assets and blockchain technology,” Perianne Boring, Founder and President of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, said in a press release.
ErisX is joining the Chamber’s growing list of members, consisting of the world’s leading innovators, operators, and investors. Notable members of the community include Accenture, BNY Mellon, Digital Assets, Fidelity Investments, IBM, Overstock.com’s Medici Ventures, Microsoft, PwC, R3, and TrustToken.
“We are pleased they recognize our dedication to help bring mainstream adoption and accessibility to this space through an intermediary-friendly model and unified platform for spot and regulated futures,” ErisX CEO Thomas Chippa said.
The news follows after ErisX recently obtained derivatives clearing organization (DCO) license from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, authorizing the crypto exchange to make digital asset future contracts available for trade on its derivatives market that is slated to be launched later this year.
