Leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced the launch of a mobile app for its professional trading platform, Coinbase Pro.
In its official announcement, the exchange said that the app has been designed to provide advanced crypto traders with the necessary tools to make trades on the go, allowing them to “capitalize on market conditions at any time, wherever they are.”
Currently, the app is available only for iOS users and the Android app will be launched soon. It is available to Coinbase Pro customers in 100+ countries around the world.
Coinbase Pro mobile app is “a powerful, mobile-first trading platform that was built with a focus on speed, ease of use, and a clean, streamlined trading experience.”
According to the blog post, the mobile app offers all the functionality of the Coinbase Pro desktop platform. Traders will be able to view prices, check their portfolios, and execute their orders in a quick manner.
“The Coinbase Pro mobile app offers a feature-rich trading experience, including real-time candles, depth charts, order books and advanced order types, along with intuitive shortcuts. Orders made via the app will carry the same fees as those executed via the desktop platform, and traders will have access to the more than 50 trading pairs available today on Coinbase Pro,” Coinbase said.
On Thursday, Coinbase also announced that its cryptocurrency custodial service, Coinbase Custody, intends to support the secure storage of Telegram Open Network (GRM), Solana (SOL) & Orchid (OXT) at each network’s respective launch. It said:
“As more networks launch tokens, institutional investors face a critical challenge in finding ways to securely hold each new unique asset. Coinbase Custody solves this problem by offering secure and trusted custody solutions for these new assets at launch.”
