Circle Invest launches crypto reward program for new users

Blockchain payments startup Circle has announced a new reward program aimed at breaking the barriers to investing in cryptocurrencies.

In an online post dated November 12, Circle said:

“Starting today and extending through the end of the year, we’re going to reward new Circle Invest customers with a free crypto asset (it could be a bitcoin!).”

“Each participating customer will get one of the crypto assets available via Circle Invest. They will be rewarded 10 days after the end of November and December.”

Earlier in March, Circle rolled out Circle Invest, its cryptocurrency investing product, in 46 states across the United States.

In the past couple of months, Circle Invest has added a number of coins to its roster, bringing the total to 12, including bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), litecoin (LTC), bitcoin cash (BCH), and Ethereum classic (ETC), Zcash (ZEC), monero (XMR), stellar (XLM), 0x (ZRX), Qtum (QTUM), EOS (EOS), and Basic Attention Token (BAT).

In a separate announcement, Circle announced that its fiat-backed stablecoin USD Coin (USDC) is now listed on Japan-based Liquid and South Korea-based Korbit. Other exchanges and trading platforms listing USDC include U.S.-based Thor Swap, Czech Republic-based Changelly, and Korea-based CPDAX. LendIndex, a blockchain-powered digital lending solution, announced it is adding USDC to their SME loan portfolio.
