PUBLISH, Inc., the South Korean company behind PUBLISHsoft, an innovative blockchain-based content management system for newspaper and magazine businesses, recently announced that it intends to speak at the forthcoming ‘Publish Asia 2019’ in Singapore on May 8.
Publish Asia is an annual three-day conference for the Asian newspaper industry hosted by WAN-IFRA (The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers).
WAN-IFRA is the largest newspaper association in the world, with members including Bloomberg L.P., Guardian News & Media, The Financial Times Ltd, and The New York Times Company.
The event, which discusses business models and best practices in the newspaper industry, has been held every year since the early 2000s in various Asian cities including Bali, Bangalore, Bangkok, Chennai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Macao, and Manilla. The presentation is followed by a live demonstration of PUBLISHsoft, which currently has a number of paying clients including 'The Big Issue' Korea and Oriental Press, Inc., a US civilian printer of USFK (United States Forces Korea) publications.
Other speakers include Ng Yat Chung, CEO of Singapore Press Holdings Ltd and Jaime Ho, Chief Editor of Channel NewsAsia.
