Binance Coin (BNB), the native token of the Binance crypto exchange that was launched in 2017, has significantly risen in value in just five short years and is now the fifth largest crypto in terms of market cap. Price comparison site Finder released a new prediction for the crypto where its panel of experts believes that BNB’s price could soar past $1,800 in just eight years.

Launched in 2017, Binance Coin managed to overtake older tokens and is now the fifth largest crypto in terms of market capitalization. At the time of writing, BNB traded at $268.81 per coin and a market cap of $43.4 billion based on CoinMarketCap data.

Finder’s panel experts believe that the crypto still has room to move higher this year. The 54 experts gave an average prediction of $274 by the end of 2022. But what’s even more interesting is that the panel predicted even larger price gains for BNB for 2025 and 2030.

“Binance Coin should see its price rise before the end of 2022 and be worth $274, according to Finder's panel of fintech specialists,” Finder wrote in its report published on July 25, 2022. “And the panel expects BNB’s price to continue to grow, closing out 2025 at $781 and surging to $1,814 by the end of 2030.”

Ben Ritchie, the managing director of Digital Capital Management and one of the panel members, is even more bullish than his peers. “The price of BNB also follows the demand and supply,” he explained. “BNB introduced a burn mechanism in every transaction fee and conducted quarterly burns, making it a deflationary asset. Since the BNB chain ecosystem continues to grow, the price may reach as high as $3,000 in 2030. BNB Chain also plans to support a layer 2 chain within the network, which can be helpful in the future as they may suffer the same gas fees issues as Ethereum.”

Meanwhile, Thomson Reuters technology and futurist Joseph Raczynski, explained his bullish stance and his $400 prediction for the crypto by the end of 2022. “Binance is still considered the best global exchange,” he said. “While BNB is not decentralized, it still can serve a purpose for fast and cheap transactions. That has a cost though. Binance could change parameters on the token without general consensus and they are far more likely to be a single point of failure.”
