Licensed crypto exchange Covesting lists DigiByte token

Cryptocurrency exchange Covesting has announced support for DigiByte token, which also marks the first ever listing on its platform.

In October 2018, the Europe-based exchange received full Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) license from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC). The platform’s soft launch went live in November.

Earlier this year, Covesting announced the rollout of the first stage of fiat gateway and cryptocurrency converter.

In a press release dated March 04, Covesting said that it has listed DigiByte (DGB) token and announced the availability of DGB/BTC and DGB/ETH pairs for trading. The token, it explained, has been added after it spent a long time developing an algorithm for token assessment and listing procedures.

“DigiByte token becomes the first ever listing under the supervision of Covesting and GFSC,” it said. “Fiat pairs will be introduced at a later date.”

Currently among the top 50 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, DigiByte is a rapidly growing global blockchain with a focus on cybersecurity for digital payments and decentralized applications.
