Blockchain smartphone maker SIRIN Labs has announced some updates regarding the shipment of FINNEY smartphones and its Amazon shops.
The company launched its blockchain smartphone FINNEY in November 2018. SIRIN Labs was recently in the news for re-opening its flagship store in London.
In its online post dated January 21, the company said that it expects to receive its final certification to begin shipping FINNEY to Russia around February 20th.
Regarding shipments to the United States, SIRIN Labs said that the blockchain smartphone has passed all the necessary FCC certifications. However, due the government shutdown, it has not received the final approval.
“Once the US government re-opens, we expect to receive the approval needed to begin shipping FINNEYs to the USA immediately,” it added.
Furthermore, the company said that its European Amazon shops are scheduled to open by February 28.
SIRIN Labs also said that it has put the production of the white FINNEY on hold due to low demand and added that it will “reevaluate its demand in the future.”
