Leading bitcoin casino Bitcasino announced that it just added support for Ripple (XRP).

Bitcasino made the announcement in a press release on April 21 making Ripple the most recent cryptocurrency to enjoy the casino’s wide range of games. Although XRP is designed primarily for use in the banking sector, it offers many advantages when used in gaming.

Customers who pay XRP will get to enjoy fast transactions, low fees and a hugely scalable network which is a great match to Bitcasino’s “fun, fast and fair world.”

Bitcasino is part of the Coingaming Group. It has expansive quality casino products with over 2,000 games including slots, table games, and more. It takes pride in its being an enjoyable and trustworthy casino and gaming service with withdrawal times of around 1.5 minutes which is amongst the fastest in the industry. It also uses cutting-edge security measures.

“It makes us very proud to say that we now have the three most used cryptocurrencies integrated with Bitcasino. XRP ranks third on the list of top virtual currencies by market cap just behind Bitcoin and Ethereum, and it's something our players have asked for quite some time now,” said Tauri Tiitsaar, Director of Bitcasino.

The minimum deposit is 50 XRP and the minimum withdrawal is 100 XRP. Considering the current trading prices with no transaction fees, the minimum deposit would be around $9.

XRP is the fifth cryptocurrency introduced to Bitcasino players. In November it added TRON (TRX). Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin (BTC) have been integrated into the system, too, with BTC being the favorite.

Meanwhile, Ripple Labs and CEO Brad Garlinghouse are suing YouTube for “XRP Giveaway” scams. They want the video-sharing company to be held accountable for the content uploaded on the site.

"It’s time to end this unacceptable behavior and protect our friends, family members and consumers everywhere. YouTube and other big technology and social media platforms must be held accountable for not implementing sufficient processes for fighting these scams,” Ripple wrote.
